Delves Lane Community Association
In 1998 Delves Lane Village Hall received a grant of £172,000 from the National Lottery Charities Board. The grant enabled us to extend and refurbish the premises. Adding another chapter to the Village Hall Story.
A team of volunteers has worked tirelessly since then to raise in the region of £962,000, providing the Village Hall with an ICT learning centre as well as equipment for courses and activities. Salaries for an administrator and caretaker have also been secured.
In February 2000 funding from the National Lottery Charities Board of £144,065 was secured in order to provide an Outdoor Multipurpose Floodlit Sports Pitch and Play Area. the facility opened in March 2001 and is enjoyed by everyone.
